On Stage 2016

Oh my goodness where to start ... I have just had the most amazing time in Brisbane at Stampin' Up!'s On Stage 2016. I went with a seven other fellow team members and we had so much fun. I also got to meet some of my Stampin' Up!® heroines and heroes, and made some new friends.

Me, Rachael, Julie, Manda, Marilyn, Maria, Jenny and Emma (Stampin' Up!®)

Kind Kylie Bertucci
Lovely Louise Sharp
Sweet Sarah Klass
Delightful Denita Wright
So Shelli and Sara
(BTW I'm not that short! I was in flats and they took their heels off a minute after this photograph was taken!)
Denita, Louise, Me and Kylie
Unfortunately I didn't get a photograph with the amazingly talented Teneale Williams - hopefully next time!

And yes this is me! I was asked to do a presentation at On Stage and despite being totally nervous I did it! My hands were shaking like crazy but I put it down to coming from Christchurch and having had over 10,000 earthquakes!

I demonstrated a technique that I came up with and Kylie Bertucci has named the AMR technique (Angela Meiritz-Reid technique). I've just put a tutorial on Facebook and here's the link https://www.facebook.com/StampingBeautyStampinUp/?hc_ref=PAGES_TIMELINE&fref=nf if you'd like to take a look.

Here are some of the cards I made using the new "Lucky Elephant" stamp set which is in the upcoming Occasions Catalogue 4 January 2017 - 31 May 2017.
This is stamped with Dapper Denim onto Very Vanilla cardstock to co-ordinate with the Playful Palette DSP stack.
Using the AMR technique I have drawn around the elephant with a Basic Black marker and stamped onto Crumb Cake cardstock.
I used the Basic Black Archival Ink to edge the elephant so I could water colour the image.
I edged the elephant in Versamark ink using a Blender Pen so I could emboss it.
And this one I stamped in Pink Pirouette then edged it in Melon Mambo before stamping it.

If you'd like any more information on this technique I'd love to hear from you.
