FAB FRI 131

Tuesday 27 February 2018     Today’s card is inspired by Fab Friday's latest sketch challenge.     It's a great sketch - so many possibilities.   I love the Heartfelt Blooms stamp set from the Sale•A•Bration catalogue. Not only is the floral image amazing to stamp with, it has three versatile sentiments in a font that complement the flower perfectly.   Once again I've used the Tutti-Fruitt Designer Series Paper. I'm always drawn toward black and white. It's so smart and crisp and here I've teamed it with Flirty Flamingo ink and Baker's Twine.   The banner is embossed with the Softly Falling Embossing Folder, then punched with the Banner Punch and the circle uses the Stitched Shapes Framelits.   Even though the Iridescent Sequins I've used are Calypso Coral I think they work well with the Flirty Flamingo. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great week. I'll be back later in the week for th

I'm looking forward to seeing what everyone creates.     I love all the colours in our logo so I enjoyed creating a card using them. I chose the feathers from the Just Add Colour Specialty Designer Series Paper - I have used every feather in this paper! And as I've said before this DSP is so forgiving when it comes to colouring, you can go over and over again!   The colours I've used for the feathers are: Emerald Envy, Peekaboo Peach, Flirty Flamingo, Night of Navy a

CELEBRATE SALE•A•BRATION

Wednesday 21 February 2018     Hello and welcome to our International Blog Highlights for the month of February. I am among Stampin' Up! demonstrators from around the world being highlighted by Kylie Bertucci and you are able to vote for my project. The theme this month is "Favourite Sale-a-bration or Occasions Catalogue Products". It was hard to chose my favourite as I love practically everything in these catalogues - based on the stash in my craftroom!   The Tutti-Frutti DSP is one of my favourite Designer Series Paper, I think because it's fun and fresh. I've teamed it with the Celebrate You Thinlits Dies which are going to be carrying on into the next Annual Catalogue! And here's a close up of each card. I couldn't decide which colour way I like the most so I decided to make two cards!   The "celebrate" has been covered glue from the Fine-Tip Glue Pen - it gives it a great shine! Both cards have very similar

Stampin' Up! have lots colouring options, many of which we'll be showcasing on our hop.     The Amazing You stamp set and co-ordinating Celebrate You Thinlits Dies from the Sale•A•Bration Brochure are very popular and made creating my card easy.   I started by spreading water from my Aqua Painter in the shape of "amazing" on a piece of Shimmery White Cardstock then added Pacif

OSAT DON'T GO BREAKING MY HEART BLOG HOP

Thursday 8 February 2018   Hello and welcome to my blog. This month the OSAT team are showcasing "heart" projects! You may have arrived here from my fabulous Australian friend Jessie Holton   or if you have just started you can navigate through the hop by clicking on the links of the other design team members at the bottom of this post.     For this month's project I've chosen the Tutti-Frutti Cards & Envelopes from the Sale•A•Bration Brochure and the Tutti-Frutti Designer Series Paper from the Occasions Catalogue.   The heart is cut from the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits and has a tiny piece of a doily under a Clear Faceted Gem and a Rhinestone Basic Jewel stuck to it.   Using Dimensionals I've stuck it to a square and then layered that onto another square cut from the Stitched Shapes Framelits with some Silver Metallic Thread poking out from under it. The Sentiment is from the Petal Palette stamp set and has been stamped in Real Red.

I think they make fabulous gifts especially the box - it's super cute!     For the card base I've used one of the Tutti-Frutti Cards and if it looks smaller it is! I've cut it down to the size of a notecard - 8.9cm x 12.7cm. I stamped the flower image and sen
