CASEING THE CATTY #164 OCCASION KITS 15-17

Sunday 4 February 2018

Hello and welcome to this week's CASEing the Catty Blog Hop. This week we are CASEing the Occasion Kits, pages 15-17. You are currently visiting Angela Meiritz-Reid's blog, you may have come from Megan's blog or if you're just joining thanks for stopping by. Make sure to click on the next button at the end of this post to continue on the hop - you won't want to miss any!

I love the Stampin' Up!® kits, they are all-inclusive pre-cut card making kits with instructions, embellishments and everything needed to make beautiful hand made cards.

The Perennial Birthday Project Kit is my favourite and I'm actually onto my second kit. I think they make fabulous gifts especially the box - it's super cute!

For the card base I've used one of the Tutti-Frutti Cards and if it looks smaller it is! I've cut it down to the size of a notecard - 8.9cm x 12.7cm. I stamped the flower image and sentiment and cut it with an oval Stitched Shape Framelit. I did stamp the flower and leaves again, fussy cut and glued over the original one to give it some dimension.

The gold ends are actually from the stickers that come with the Love Today Planner kit but you could easily make these from Gold Foil Sheets. I also had some of the Dapper Denim Solid Baker's Twine left over from the kit but you could use the Dapper Denim Baker's Twine from the Annual Catalogue.

We would love you to join us with your CASE this week, using our Facebook group. Click on the image below to go there. For the first time you'll need to click on the "Join Group" button at the top. After you're added you can post your creation and you don't need to have a blog.

  5. Thankyou for using the foil from the planner! That is such a brilliant idea! I love my planner but don't use the stickers and never thought of using them on cards! How silly.
Your card is just adorable. I love the popped up flowers. Perfectly fussy cut.
