PETAL PALETTE THANK YOU CARD: ALL STAR TUTORIAL BUNDLE BLOG HOP

Wednesday 2 May 2018

Hello and welcome to our Tutorial Bundle Design Team Blog Hop for May!

Each month I hop with this fabulous group of 12 demonstrators from around the world who create an amazing bundle of tutorials. This month we have a special guest joining us - Sandra Mastello, from New South Wales, Australia. It's so lovely having Sandra with us.

The tutorials are based on current products available in the Stampin' Up! catalogues and have both metric and imperial measurements so wherever you are in the world you can purchase and create these exclusive projects. We will be showcasing a project using the same bundle as in our tutorial. It isn't the same project, the projects in the Tutorial Bundle are exclusive and not shown anywhere else.

The Tutorial Bundle is $20NZ or place an order over $50NZ this month with me to receive this month's tutorial for free.

My tutorial this month has been created using products from the 2018 Occasions Catalogue which runs till 31 May 2018.  So there's still time to buy Stampin' Up!® products from the fabulous range in this catalogue.

To create my card I used the Petal Palette Stamp Set and co-ordinating Petals & More Thinlits Dies. I'm really pleased that this set is carrying over to the 2018-19 Annual Catalogue as it's very cute and versatile!

The background was created by stamping the spotted stamp in VersaMark and embossing it with White Emboss Powder then flooding it in Flirty Flamingo ink with an Aqua Painter. The spotted stamp is longer than I needed so I covered the end with a piece of washi tape, stamped it on the VersaMark, removed the washi tape, stamped it on the cardstock and embossed it. I repeated this four times to create the size I wanted.

The flower and leaves were also embossed and coloured with Flirty Flamingo and Lemon Lime Twist. "Just a Note" from the Better Together Stamp Set is stamped in Basic Black and cut out with the Classic Label Punch. These are adhered to a piece of Doily and some Gold Metallic Thread. And, of course, I couldn't resist adding some Iridescent Sequins in Powder Pink.

And here's a sneak peek of what is included in this month's tutorial bundle:
