Hello and welcome to my blog! Today I'm sharing my card for this week's Global Design Colour Challenge which use the three colours below:
Daffodil Delight and Flirty Flamingo remind me of Spring and as it's officially Springtime here in New Zealand (although the weather outside would have you thinking otherwise!) I decided to use my Botanical Bliss stamp set and co-ordinating Botanical Tags Thinlits Dies to create my card.
The base of my card uses the Daffodil Delight paper from the Brights 6" x 6" (15.2 x 15.2 cm) Designer Series Paper with a piece of striped paper from the Frosted Floral Specialty Designer Series Paper in the new Holiday Catalogue. The Flirty Flamingo circle is cut from the Starburst Punch and then embossed using the new Subtle Embossing Folder - doesn't it look great?
My little bird has been stamped in Daffodil Delight, fussy cut and sits on leaves cut from the Botanical Tags Thinlits Dies. "Celebrate" comes from the Celebrate You Thinlits and has been cut several times from Soft Suede Cardstock. A bow in Linen Thread and a few Iridescent Sequins complete my card.
