Welcome to the Artisan Design Team's June Blog Hop. You are currently visiting Angela Meiritz-Reid in Christchurch, New Zealand. Thanks for hopping along with us as we share our inspirational projects featuring products from the Come Sail Away Suite.
This Suite had me at "Night of Navy" - I just love blue! With it's stunning stripes and cute images of lighthouses and yachts this paper is perfect for male cards!

The dies in the co-ordinating Smooth Sailing Dies set can be used with the Sailing Home Stamp Set or alone to create these great layering pieces.
And add a cute little trinket from the Sail Away Trinkets to step it up a notch or two!

The Night of Navy and Sahara Sand Baker's Twine adds a rope look to add to the authentic sailing theme!

I've even coloured the Rhinestone Basic Jewels with my Dark Night of Navy Stampin' Blend to make them a little more "manly" and to co-ordinate with the Come Sail Away Designer Series Paper.

For this card I've used a sticker from the Come Sail Away Memories & More Card Pack as my sentiment.

I love how these papers look layered up!

 How cool is the seaweed?

Left over right and under, then right over left and under ... those Girl Guide rope tying lessons have not gone unused! Who knew all these years later I'd be tying Reef Knots on my cards!
Next up on the hop is my gorgeous and super-talented friend Ashley Van Camp. Please click on the link below to continue on the hop.
And here's a look at the amazing collection of card projects the team have created!

Hello and welcome to my blog. My card today is for the latest TGIF - Colour Challenge and I just love the colours!

In fact I love them soooo much I created two cards - one masculine and one feminine!

My masculine card uses products in the Come Sail Away Suite - from the Sailing Home Stamp Set and co-ordinating dies to stickers from the Memories & More Card Pack.

To bring Pool Party into the mix I've water-washed the background of each of the Stitched Shape Squares which have been die cut using Shimmery White Cardstock.

And for my feminine card I've used the gorgeous Bloom & Grow Stamp Set and co-ordinating Budding Blooms Dies. These flowers look great in Pool Party teamed with the leaves in Granny Apple Green and the Night of Navy accessories.

The Clear Rhinestones have been coloured using the Dark Night of Navy Blends to co-ordinate with everything! And if you are wondering how I created the frame around the sentiment - I used the strip die from the Stitched Nested Labels. It does overlap in the corners but I think it works perfectly to create a label for any sized sentiment.
Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your week!

Welcome to this week's CASEing the Catty Blog Hop. Our inspiration this week comes from the Artistic Expressions Section (pages 106 - 159) in the new 2019-2020 Stampin' Up!® Annual Catalogue. You may have arrived here from seeing Kelly's lovely project if you're hopping along already. If you started here, welcome and please make sure to visit all the Design Team's blogs, the next button at the end of this post will take you on your journey.

This week my inspiration came from the "thank you" card below on page 142 of the Catalogue.

I love the layout out of this card and was pleased how it all came together.

I've combined the gorgeous Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper with the Bloom & Grow, Love What You Do and Beautiful Day Stamp Sets to create my card.

The flowers from the Bloom & Grow Stamp Set have been coloured with co-ordinating colours from the Bird Ballad DSP - Old Olive and Calypso Coral - using ink from the Classic Stampin' Pads and a Blender Pen.

The background stamp has been stamped off once in Petal Pink with the little images also stamped in Petal Pink.
The sequins are from the Woven Threads Sequin Assortment and are Terracotta Tile but they actually pick up the Calypso Coral colouring and work perfectly!
