INK IT! STAMP IT! - KIDS/MALE INSPIRED

Welcome to the Ink It! Stamp It! Blog Hop. This month we are sharing projects that are kids/male inspired. You may have arrived here from my lovely team member Kirsten, if you're hopping along already. If you started here, welcome and please make sure to visit all the Design Team's blogs, the full line up below will guide you through all the projects.

Have you got the Come Sail Away Suite? This Suite makes it so easy to create gorgeous male cards.

For this card I've used the Note Card from the Note Cards & Envelopes pack as a guide but cut it to open up so I could tie the twine around it. These make a great sized card and means you don't have to write too much inside!!!

I covered the front with the striped designer series paper, Come Sale Away and layered a couple of strips of the different patterns. The twine has been wrapped around and tied at the side with one of the cute anchors from the Sail Away Trinkets.

The next layer is a Stitched Nested Label which I've coloured using a Sponge Dauber and Balmy Blue ink. The birds add a lovely little touch and balance to my card.

The lighthouse from the Sailing Home Stamp Set  has been stamped in Sahara Sand to co-ordinate with the twine and cut using the co-ordinating die set - Smooth Sailing Dies.

"Thanks" is heat embossed in White Stampin' Emboss Powder and cut using the co-ordinating die on Night of Navy Cardstock.

Enjoy the rest of the hop - there'll be lots of fabulous inspiration to get you creating!
