GLOBAL DESIGN PROJECT #328 | CASE JANNEKE DE JONG

Welcome to my blog! Today I'm sharing the card I made for this week's Global Design Project # 328 | CASE Janneke de Jong. Janneke has a beautiful style and I just loved CASEing her gorgeous floral card. I pretty much recreated Janneke's complete card, instead using the Blessings of Home Stamp Set. Water-colouring this image was fairly straight-forward. I used the shading on the flowers and leaves to guide me with the colour. GLOBAL DESIGN PROJECT #327 | LOVE - VALENTINE

Welcome to my blog! Today I'm sharing the card I made for this week's Global Design Project  #327 | Love - Valentine. I googled love and it came up with " an intense feeling of deep affection". I love that definition! My husband and I aren't into the whole Valentine's Day thing (he would tell you I get treated like it's Valentine's Day everyday)!!! So I decided to make a card I could send to a friend, especially as I love pink and that heart! The heart is from the Bouquet of Love Hybrid Embossing Folder! I blended the background in Polished Pink, splattered some White Craft Ink onto it, then added the white embossed heart over the white bow.   The embossed heart is just so elegant. GLOBAL DESIGN PROJECT 326 | SKETCH CHALLENGE

Welcome to my blog! Today I'm sharing the card I made for this week's Global Design Project 326 | Sketch Challenge. Sketches are a great starting point for creating a card. Adding and layering papers, stamps and embellishments bring the sketch to life. I started with an embossed background of Coastal Cabana using the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder and layering up the lovely butterfly silhouette. Colouring onto the stamp using the Stampin' Write Markers is a great way to create different colour combinations and to give your image another look!
