GLOBAL DESIGN PROJECT #378 | LOVE THEME CHALLENGE

Hello and welcome to my blog! This week's Global Design Project challenge is the theme challenge of Love! Love is in the air as we head towards Valentine's Day next month. It's a lovely excuse to celebrate those we love with a little extra attention and gifts too, if you like! The gnomes in the Friendly Gnomes Stamp Set are super cute and the sentiments are a bit of fun! I enjoyed water colouring this little guy! I initially reached for my Stampin' Blends but I couldn't get the look I was wanting so switched to water colouring. BE INSPIRED | SALE-A-BRATION

The Be Inspired Design Team are hopping today and our theme this month is "Sale-A-Bration". I'm looking forward to seeing what everyone has created! P lease be sure to hop all the way around for lots of inspirational projects created by the design team.  I love the little owls from the Adorable Owls Stamp Set, they are so cute. This is one of the free stamp sets available during Sale-A-Bration (details below). To create my card I blended Fresh Freesia ink to the edges of a piece of Fresh Freesia Cardstock then added my stamped and water coloured owls. You can have a little pink owl right? That's what I love about stamping images and colouring them, there are no rules and it really does take me back to my love of colouring from childhood! GLOBAL DESIGN PROJECT #378 | SKETCH CHALLENGE

Hello and welcome to my blog! This week's Global Design Project challenge is a sketch challenge and below is sketch we are using. There are lots of options with this sketch and I look forward to seeing what the team and everyone that enters the challenge create. I loved creating with this sketch, it was such a great starting point for my card. I used the Stitched Greenery Die for the layering panel then added a strip of Balmy Blue paper from the Country Gingham Designer Series Paper. Next I added a trio of flowers in Polished Pink from the Love for You Stamp Set. The Iridescent Pastel Gems are so pretty and add a lovely sparkle.
