BE INSPIRED | BRIGHTS COLLECTION

The Be Inspired Design Team are hopping today and our theme this month is the "Brights Collection". I'm looking forward to seeing what everyone has created! P lease be sure to hop all the way around for lots of inspirational projects created by the design team. The Brights Designer Series Paper makes a great background for today's card. I water-coloured a flower from the Cottage Rose Stamp Set in Flirty Flamingo to co-ordinate with the Designer Series Paper, and added a scalloped, stitched rectangle for added interest. The flower was embossed in white which created a no-line look to the image but also made water-colouring the flower so much easier. I have created a YouTube video for this card. GLOBAL DESIGN PROJECT #380 | CASE THE DESIGNER CHALLENGE

Hello and welcome to my blog! This week's Global Design Project challenge is a Case the Designer Challenge and we are caseing Janneke's gorgeous card below. I took Janneke's colour palette and layout as inspiration for my card. I love a blended background, it adds a really pretty element to any card. For my background I've used Tahitian Tide. I love adding a few splashes of water to the blending. It takes the colour out and adds another interesting element to the background.
