CASEing the Catty #140 For Babies & Kids

Sunday 6 August 2017

Welcome to this week's CASEing the Catty Blog Hop. Today's card is from the For Babies & Kids section (pages 102-111) of the Annual Catalogue.

My girls are teenagers so my cards for their friends have to be a bit more sophisticated now otherwise they won't use them! So I love every opportunity I have to make cards for babies and kids.

This week's I've chosen to CASE the tepee card at the bottom right hand corner. I love this cute tepee in the "Little One" stamp set.

I kept the layout of my card close to the one in the Annual Catalogue, just changing the position a little bit and the colours! I used the new Basics Pack 3 Washi Tape for the strips down the side of my card and then co-ordinated the colours of the tepee and sentiment with the Dapper Denim, Island Indigo and Bermuda Bay from the washi tape.

The sentiment has been embossed in white on a piece of Bermuda Bay and a piece of Linen Thread tied down the side in a bow adds the last touch!

The inside got a couple of strips of washi tape and some Linen thread too!

Next on the blog hop is the lovely and talented Julia Quinn - you'll love her card!
