DISPLAY STAMPER BLOG HOP - DAY 7

Monday 27 November 2017

Hello and welcome to day seven of our week-long blog hop with Stampin' Up!® OnStage Display Stampers from around the world! We all received product from the upcoming 2018 Occasions and Sale-a-Bration Catalogues to create samples to display at our OnStage events for other demonstrators to view and now we are sharing these with you - my projects were displayed in Auckland, New Zealand.

We'll be bringing you lots of inspiration and ideas - you will not want to miss a single day! You may have arrived from Dani Dziama or if you are starting here continue around the hop using the next button at the end of this post.

Today I'm showcasing two projects using the Petal Passion Memories & More Card Pack.

The card base for this card is one of the 10.2 x 15.2 cm cards and the foliage peaking out from under the sentiment is from the accent sheets.

The silver embossed sentiment is from the Petal Palette stamp set and the little heart is from the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits.

This is a mini album I've made using the 7.6 x 10.2 cm cards. I've stuck them together using the Pick a Pattern Washi Tape.

The silver Birthday Mini Binder Clip is perfect to hold the album closed. There are 2 cardstock sticker sheets in the pack and these hearts are from them.

It's all ready to add some photographs now.

The acetate card overlays add a lovely dimension without being too fussy!

I hope you've enjoyed this seven day hop. I've enjoyed being able to share my projects with you and it's been a pleasure hopping with all these fabulous fellow Stampin' Up! demonstrators. A big thank you to Cathy Caines for all her hard work putting it all together and keeping us in line!

Next up is my lovely and talented friend Jenny Hall from New Jersey.

CASEING THE CATTY #156 CASE ANY PROJECT & GIVE IT A CHRISTMAS TWIST

Sunday 26 November 2017

Welcome to this week's CASEing the Catty Blog Hop. Our challenge is to Case any project in the Annual Catalogue and give it a Christmas Twist!

I've chosen to CASE the card on the left hand side on page 128 of the Annual Catalogue (pictured below).

You may be starting here or hopping over from Elizabeth Gross's lovely project. The next button at the bottom of the post will take you around the hop and you won't want to miss any!

As you can see my CASE is very close to the original - size, colours and layout. I've used Cheers to the Year stamp set and stamped the background in Daffodil Delight ink on Daffodil Delight cardstock!

The DSP is Be Merry from the Annual Catalogue and I've teamed it with Washi Tape from the Basics Pack 3. Then I wrapped some Pool Party Solid Baker's Twine around the card and tied it in a bow. I think it makes a cute non-traditional Christmas card.

Enjoy the hop, there's always lots of inspiration from my talented crew members and next on the hop is Monique Fielder, you'll love her fabulous project.

Hello and welcome to day six of our week-long blog hop with Stampin' Up!® OnStage Display Stampers from around the world!

Today I'm showcasing several projects that all contain Berry Burst.

When I prepared my projects for the display board I wanted it to look cohesive so I carried elements through several projects and then grouped them together.

This card uses the Petal Passion DSP and Petal Palette Stamp Set from the Petal Passion Suite.

Again I've used the Petal Palette Stamp Set with the new Berry Burst 1 cm Metallic-Edge Ribbon and lots of Berry Burst spots made using the 1.3 cm punch.

The base and sentiment for this cute little card come from the Petal Passion Memories & More Card Pack.

And lastly, I love this clipboard made from MDF board and covered in DSP. I'm going to make one for all my customers and attach a wish list to it!

Next up is my lovely and talented friend Jenny Hall from New Jersey.

DISPLAY STAMPER BLOG HOP - DAY 5

Saturday 25 November 2017

Hello and welcome to day five of our week-long blog hop with Stampin' Up!® OnStage Display Stampers from around the world!

Today my cards use images from the Petal Palette stamp set. It is a gorgeous new stamp set with 7 images and 8 sentiments.

I've kept both these cards clean and simple. To soften the image I brushed my Aqua Painter over the ink before it dried completely.

And for the foliage on this card I stamped it in Pear Pizzazz then rolled the edges in Always Artichoke.

I hope you are enjoying the hop and have your wish list handy so you can add to it as you go around.

DISPLAY STAMPER BLOG HOP - DAY 4

Friday 24 November 2017

Hello and welcome to day four of our week-long blog hop with Stampin' Up!® OnStage Display Stampers from around the world!

Heart Happiness is a new stamp set with 13 of the 15 stamps being hearts - perfect for February 14th! Here are four cards I've created using this set.

This heart has been stamped using Peekaboo Peach and Flirty Flamingo ink. It's a great effect and easy to create - just dab each stamp pad onto a portion of the stamp but making sure the whole stamp has been inked. Usually you would start with the lightest ink first but these are fairly similar so it didn't matter.

All the sentiments on these cards come from the Petal Palette stamp set.

This heart was coloured using Picture Perfect Party Classic Stampin' Spots which is a set of Classic Stampin' Ink in smaller sizes, just right for stamping small images. The colours in this set of inks are Bermuda Bay, Berry Burst, Peekaboo Peach and Pool Party

Some hearts in this set co-ordinate with the hearts in the Sweet & Sassy Framelits set.

The base for this card is from the Petal Passion Memories & More Card Pack.

I hope you are enjoying the hop and have your wish list handy so you can add to it as you go around.

Next up is Jenny Hall from New Jersey with another amazing project.

INK & INSPIRATION BLOG HOP

Thursday 23 November 2017

Welcome to this month's Ink & Inspiration Blog Hop. You are currently visiting Angela Meiritz-Reid from Christchurch, New Zealand. The theme this month is Sorry/Sympathy/Get Well. Please hop around the list at the bottom to check out all the inspirational project created by the team.

The sentiment "Wishing you brighter days to come" is from the Beautiful You stamp set and covers lots of different situations. The paper I've used is "Sweet Soiree Specialty Designer Series Paper" from the upcoming Occasions Catalogue, isn't it stunning? And here are two other cards also made from paper in that suite.

For a few of my friends 2017 has been a difficult year so I'm hoping these cards will let them know I'm thinking of them and cheering them along for brighter days!

As this paper is so pretty I didn't want to cover it up or detract from it so I kept my sentiment and embellishments to a minimum.

Thanks for stopping by and please be sure to visit the other design team members for more ideas and inspiration.

DISPLAY STAMPER BLOG HOP - DAY 3

Thursday 23 November 2017

Hello and welcome to the third day of our week-long blog hop with Stampin' Up!® OnStage Display Stampers from around the world!

You may have arrived from seeing Dani Dziama's gorgeous creations or if you are starting here continue around the hop using the next button at the end of this post.

Today I'm sharing two cards I made using the "Beautiful Day" stamp set.

I've coloured this flower in using the new Stampin' Blends - they make colouring in so easy!  There are also two sentiments, the one I've used and "Always thinking of you" - love the font!

The cute row of flowers at the bottom are stamped in Bermuda Bay. There is also a butterfly in the set - also perfect for colouring!

For this flower I've used my Aqua Painter and Calypso Coral ink.

I've also done some fussy cutting with the flower and layered it up. Stampin' Up! have also brought out a fabulous new product called "Brusho Crystal Colour". It is watercolour ink crystals which when mixed with water makes colour washes and designs. It'll be perfect for the images in this stamp set and I'm looking forward to creating with it!

Thanks for stopping by today and enjoy the hop - there are 20 of us in all!

Next up is my inspiring and talented friend Jenny Hall from New Jersey.

DISPLAY STAMPER BLOG HOP - DAY 2

Wednesday 22 November 2017

Today is the second day of our blog hop with Stampin' Up!® OnStage Display Stampers from around the world! We all received product from the upcoming 2018 Occasions Catalogue to create samples to display at our OnStage events for other demonstrators to view and now we are sharing these with you.

We'll be bringing you lots of inspiration and ideas - you will not want to miss a single day! You may have arrived from amazingly talented Dani Dziama or if you are starting here continue around the hop using the next button at the end of this post.

As part of our brief for being an OnStage Display Stamper we are asked to create some scrapbooking pages. It was a perfect opportunity to use the gorgeous Petal Passion Designer Series Paper with the co-ordinating Petal Passion Memories & More Card Pack and get some of my photographs out of boxes!

The 7.6 x 10.2 cm cards work perfectly alongside these photographs and the "love" and "memories" from the accent sheets add a lovely touch to each photograph. The row of hearts are from the Heart Happiness stamp set and the Birthday Mini Binder Clip in Berry Burst co-ordinates with the Berry Burst cardstock frames.

The photo pocket pages and co-ordinating packs of cards make it easy to put projects together quickly and are perfect for cardmaking and memory keeping. The Basic Black and white cards in the Petal Passion Memories & More Card Pack make it possible to co-ordinate with lots pf photos.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you are inspired to get those photographs out of boxes (or wherever they're stored) and into some albums using products from Stampin' Up!'s beautiful Memories & more range.

Next up is the fabulously talented Jenny Hall from New Jersey.

DISPLAY STAMPER BLOG HOP - DAY 1

Tuesday 21 November 2017

I'm soooooo excited to be hopping today with Stampin' Up!® OnStage Display Stampers from around the world! We all received product from the upcoming 2018 Occasions Catalogue to create samples to display at our OnStage events for other demonstrators to view and now we are sharing these with you.

Over the next seven days we'll be bringing you lots of inspiration and ideas - you will not want to miss a single day! You may have arrived from amazingly talented Dani Dziama or if you are starting here continue around the hop using the next button at the end of this post.

With these cards I simply cut a piece of the Petal Passion Designer Series Paper 7.2 x 7.2 cm which I layered onto a piece of 7.4 x 7.4 cm Basic Black cardstock, then adhered to a Whisper White card base (7.6 x 15.2 cm and scored at 7.6).

The sentiments are from the Petal Palette stamp set and are stamped in Basic Black ink and attached using dimensionals. To finish off my card I've wrapped a piece of Whisper White Baker's Twine around the card and tied a bow.

This fabulous Petal Passion Designer Series Paper showcases handpainted watercolour designs in shades of black and white and it really is the star of the show!

Simple but elegant cards perfect to pop in a Mini Pizza Box.
