I love Sale•A•Bration - who doesn't? I've taken my inspiration from page 14 of the Sale•A•Bration brochure.

This is the third time I have CASED this card - it's a fabulous layout and has so many options.

I've created my card using both the Amazing You and Picture Perfect Stamp sets. The Banner Punch and Lots of Labels Framelits are perfect accompaniments for this card. As is the Sparkle Embossing Folder.

The banner uses DSP from the Petal Garden DSP stack and I've added Lemon Lime Twist Mini Striped Ribbon and Iridescent Sequent to complete my card.

We would love you to join us with your CASE this week, using our Facebook group. Click on the image below to go there. For the first time you'll need to click on the "Join Group" button at the top. After you're added you can post your creation and you don't need to have a blog.

INK & INSPIRATION BUNNIES & CHOCOLATES BLOG HOP

Thursday 22 March 2018

Welcome to this month's Ink & Inspiration Blog Hop. You are currently visiting Angela Meiritz-Reid from Christchurch, New Zealand. There's a complete list at the bottom to check out all the inspirational projects created by the team.

The theme this month is "Bunnies and Chocolate". There'll be lots of inspiration on the hop for you to get creative before Easter!

The We Must Celebrate stamp set has the cutest furry friends and sentiments from the 2018 Occasions Catalogue. I stamped the little bunny at the end, coloured it in and fussy cut it before adding it to an oval from the Stitched Shapes Framelits.

I loved it so much in bIue decided I needed to make it in pink too! I've used Dapper Denim and Flirty Flamingo Baker's Twine - I pulled it apart and used the coloured twine only. There's also a piece of the Delicate White Doilies and Gold Metallic Thread under each oval. Sequins from the Iridescent Sequin Assortment and "Celebrate" embossed in gold on a piece of Tutti-Frutti Designer Series Paper complete my cards. The envelopes got a little stamping and colouring too!

To decorate the cellophane bags filled with mini Easter eggs I made co-ordinating tags. I added a strip of either Flirty Flamingo or Dapper Denim cardstock along the edge of the DSP and the ribbon at the top is tied with the Baker's Twine.

The ovals were given a water colour wash then the same layering as on the card. The cards and envelopes are the "Whisper White Narrow Note Cards & Envelopes" from the 2018 Occasions Catalogue - they are super cute!

Enjoy the hop, next up is my talented team mate Joanne - make sure you hop around everyone, you won't want to miss any!

CASEING THE CATTY 170 - TUTTI FRUTTI

Hello and welcome to this week's CASEing the Catty Blog Hop. This week we are CASEing the Tutti-Frutti Suite, pages 28-35 of the Occasions Catalogue. You are currently visiting Angela Meiritz-Reid's blog, you may have come from Rachel's lovely blog or if you're just joining thanks for stopping by. The Tutti-Frutti Suite is a beautiful collection of fresh and bright colours and images.

I've chosen to CASE the card second from the right. I've CASEd this before - I really like the style and the new Whisper White Note Cards & Envelopes are so much fun to use.

I made this card for my daughter - it was her birthday yesterday!  I cut a piece of Shimmery White Cardstock 3mm smaller and using an Aqua Painter and Flirty Flamingo ink I coloured the background.  The images are from Picture Perfect Birthday and are also stamped in Flirty Flamingo.

Layered behind the Happy Birthday sentiment is Gold Mini Sequin Trim, Powder Pink Shimmer Ribbon and a little piece of the Delicate White Doilies.

The envelope got a big of love too!

STAMPIN' DREAMS BLOG HOP - EASTER

Thursday 15 March 2018

Hello and welcome to this month's Stampin' Dreams Blog Hop. You are currently visiting Angela Meiritz-Reid from Christchurch, New Zealand. If you are hopping with us today you may have arrived from Sara Levin's lovely blog or if you are just starting here there's a list at the end of this post to continue on the hop. I hope you enjoy the projects I've created with our Easter theme in mind.

These cards use the Whisper White Narrow Note Cards & Envelopes from the 2018 Occasions Catalogue. They are so cute and I may or may not be addicted to them! I cut a piece of Shimmery White Cardstock 3mm smaller and using an Aqua Painter and ink I coloured the background. The background stamp and bunny are from the We Must Celebrate stamp set.

The idea for these cards came from page 35 of the Occasions catalogue.

The blues are Dapper Denim ink, Soft Sky Classic Weave Ribbon, Smoky Slate and Flirty Flamingo ink and Pool Party Sequin from the Iridescent Sequin Assortment.

And the pinks are Flirty Flamingo ink, Powder Pink Shimmer Ribbon, Smoky Slate and Flirty Flamingo ink and Calypso Coral Sequin from the Iridescent Sequin Assortment.

Make sure you check out the 2018 Occasions Catalogue and remember there are only 16 days left of Sale•A•Bration for 2018!

HEARTFELT CHALLENGES

Thursday 15 March 2018

Hello and thanks for stopping by today. My latest card is for three challenges, the Paper Players - any shade of PINK, TGIF - a sketch and The St@mps Team - a sympathy card.

I loved how these three challenges came together.

I've combined all my "current" favourites in one card! The Tutti-Frutti Designer Series Paper, Sale•A•Bration Heartfelt Blooms Stamp Set and everything Flirty Flamingo! Sometimes I'm a bit slow to a party and this was definitely the case with the Heartfelt Blooms set but I absolutely love it and use it every chance I get.

Here I've stamped it in Flirty Flamingo and used a circle from Stitched Shaped Framelits to cut it out. The sentiments in this set are in beautiful fonts and cover many occasions.

A piece of co-ordinating Flirty Flamingo Baker's Twine tied around it just below a strip of Basic Black cardstock and some Iridescent Sequin complete my card. I've used the Calypso Coral Sequin but I think they work perfectly with the Flirty Flamingo.

Have a great day and I'll be back later tonight with the Stampin' Dreams Blog Hop full of Easter inspiration.

This week I've chosen to CASE the "You're Awesome" card on page 12 of the Sale•A•Bration catalogue.
I love the layout of this card and as I just happen to have "The Epic Celebrations" stamp set I decided not to reinvent the wheel!

The paper I've used on top of the Night of Navy card base is from the Tutti-Frutti 6" x 6" (15.2 x 15.2 cm) Designer Series Paper then I've layered a piece of Shimmery White cardstock that I've coloured myself using Pool Party  and Bermuda Bay Inks and an Aqua Painter. The sneakers have been stamped in Basic Black ink and coloured with Pool Party ink and a blender pen.

You're Awesome is stamped in Night of Navy and is layered on top of a piece of Washi Tape from the Basic Pack 3 and some silver Mini Sequin Trim. The ends of the sentiment have been punched with the Ticket Tear Border Punch.

GLOBAL DESIGN PROJECT 128 | CASE THE DESIGNER

Friday 10 March 2018

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today's card is for this week's Case the Designer Challenge on the Global Design Project #GDP128.

I love Steffi's fresh and clean style and as with CASEing I've picked out some key elements from Steffi's card and added some of my own.

The Shimmery White cardstock has been embossed with the Polka Dot Basics embossing folder and then I've smooshed some Flirty Flamingo ink onto it. I've then layered the leaves cut from the Petals & More Thinlits Dies in Lemon Lime Twist cardstock. The flowers are from the Perennial Birthday stamp set and have been embossed in white and then coloured with the Flirty Flamingo ink.

"Hello Friend" is also embossed in white and is from the Fruit Basket stamp set. The black rhinestones are the Rhinestone Basics Jewels that I've coloured black using a Sharpie.

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the weekend!

OSAT HAPPILY EVER AFTER BLOG HOP

Thursday 8 March 2018

Hello and welcome to my blog. This month the OSAT team are showcasing projects depicting "happily ever after"! You may have arrived here from Kelly's fabulous project or if you have just started you can navigate through the hop by clicking on the links of the other design team members at the bottom of this post.

I started making this card and co-ordinating pizza box with my husband in mind. It is our 20th wedding anniversary this year and I'm going to be so ready!

The gorgeous card base comes from the Perennial Birthday Project Kit. I've stamped the hearts, from the Heart Happiness Stamp set, in Dapper Denim and cut the banner from Gold Foil to co-ordinate with the Dapper Denim and Gold of the card base. A piece of Dapper Denim Solid Baker's Twine, from the kit, has been wrapped around the top of the banner three times and tied in a bow.

The sentiment, from the Petal Palette stamp set, is stamped in Old Olive and the heart Enamel Shape is also in Old Olive.

The gold satin ribbon is from the kit as well. At least I've got a bit of time to think about what gift I'll give him to fit in the pizza box!

Thanks so much for stopping by today and enjoy our hop which is full of lots of fabulous inspiration.

I'm caseing the congratulations card at the bottom, middle, of this page. I've pretty much cased it completely as it's such a lovely card and I have all the products!

I've used cards and stickers from the Petal Passion Memories and More Card Pack and teamed it with the Petal Palette stamp set and Petals and More Thinlits Dies.

The only difference is I've used Lemon Lime Twist cardstock for the leaves and a different sentiment.
