HELLO GDP!

Thursday 31 May 2018     Hello and thanks for stopping by today. My card is for the latest Global Design Project Challenge - CASE the Designer and it is none other than the fabulous Brian King. Brian's style is very smart with clean lines and a few layers.   I've picked out Brian's layout and colour scheme to CASE.     I used the Petal Palette Stamp Set and co-ordinating Petals & More Thinlits Dies. The background spots have been stamped in Powder Pink, then I've layered up some Metallic Gold Thread with the floral image on top. I stamped this in Sahara Sand after I'd stamped it off twice as I wanted a softer edge. It's been coloured with Flirty Flamingo and Pear Pizzazz using a blender pen.     To create lighter areas on the flowers and leaves I used the White Stampin' Chalk Marker. Hello is from the Better Together Stamp Set and has been cut out with the Classic Label Punch.   And even though Brian's card didn&#

Happy Birthday is from the Beautiful Day stamp set, isn't the font gorgeous?     And what's one of my cards without some bling? The Iridescent Sequin A

INK & INSPIRATION SNEAK PEEK BLOG HOP

Thursday 24 May 2018       Hello and welcome to this month's Ink & Inspiration Blog Hop. You are currently visiting Angela Meiritz-Reid from Christchurch, New Zealand. There's a complete list at the bottom to check out all the inspirational projects created by the team. The theme this month is a Sneak Peek of products in the new Annual Stampin' Up! catalogue - launching on 1 June!   I chose to showcase the gorgeous new Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper and a selection of the new co-ordinating embellishments.    A feature of this DSP is the translucent pearlised finish on 4 of the designs and this, of course, goes perfectly with the Pearlized Doilies which you can see peeking out from under the sentiment which comes from the Better Together stamp set. A piece of Blackberry Bliss Nature's Twine has been wrapped around the card and tied in a bow with a few Rich Razzleberry pearls from the Share What You Love Artisan Pe

My card today is for the latest challenge over on the Fab Friday Blog.     The current challenge is this sketch and here's my card ...    I've been wanting to use this new set "Animal Outing" since I received it at On Stage and this was the perfect opportunity. I've teamed it up with the Coffee Break Designer Series Paper which is only current for a few more days! I'm looking forward to creating with the Designer Series Papers in the new catalogue.     I've stamped the kangaroo and koala in Basic Black ink and water-coloured them using Crumb Cake and Early Espresso inks. A bit of fussy cutting and then I've adhered them using dimensionals. A few Rhinestones Basic Jewels, Iridescent Sequin Assortment, and Glitter and Clear Epoxy Shapes add a bit of bling.   Have a great day and be sure to pop over to the Fab Friday Blog to check out other creations using t
