CASEING THE CATTY #193 | GRACEFUL GLASS

Welcome to this week's CASEing the Catty Blog Hop. Our inspiration this week comes from the Graceful Glass Suite on pages 164-179 of the Annual Catalogue.  You may have arrived here from seeing Judy's gorgeous project if you're hopping along already. If you started here, welcome and please make sure to visit all the Design Team's blogs, the next button at the end of this post will take you on your journey.

This week my inspiration came from the "Hello"  card below on page 170 of the Annual Catalogue.

I was drawn to both the colours and the layout - stylish and elegant!

My card uses a selection of Powder Pink and Flirty Flamingo elements and has a circle rather than an oval for the sentiment. I like how this card turned out - it's pretty without being too fussy!

And as you know I always love a little bling - this card has a little extra with the metallic thread in the ribbon and the sequins!

INK & INSPIRATION - HOLIDAY CATTY SNEAK PEAK

Hello and welcome to this month's Ink & Inspiration Blog Hop. You are currently visiting Angela Meiritz-Reid from Christchurch, New Zealand. The complete list at the bottom will guide you through all the inspirational projects created by the team.

The theme this month is Holiday Catty Sneak Peek. This catalogue goes live on 5 September and there are lots of fabulous new products to create those upcoming holiday projects.

My inspiration for these cards comes from page 24 of the Holiday catalogue, I love the layout.

These cards use the Festive Farmhouse Designer Series Paper - it has a great variety of designs.

Here I've packaged four cards and envelopes up into an Acetate Card Box - with the cards showing through it really doesn't need decorating and will make a great gift!

All the cards have some Basic Black Solid Baker's Twine wrapped around and tied in a bow, Merry from the Merry Christmas Thinlits Dies cut from either Gold or Silver Glimmer Paper, Christmas from the Merry Christmas to All stamp set - stamped in Cherry Cobbler and some Black Sequin from the Metallics Assortment.

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of the hop. You won't want to miss all the fabulous Sneak Peeks the team has to share!

CASEING THE CATTY #192 | TRANQUIL TEXTURES

Welcome to this week's CASEing the Catty Blog Hop. Our inspiration this week comes from the Tranquil Textures Suite on pages 154-163 of the Annual Catalogue.  You may have arrived here from seeing Megan's gorgeous project if you're hopping along already. If you started here, welcome and please make sure to visit all the Design Team's blogs, the next button at the end of this post will take you on your journey.

This week my inspiration came from the "Thank You very much"  card below on page 158 of the Annual Catalogue.

I love the colours and layout of this card - it's so fresh and bright!

I've kept the colours and layout very similar but have used images from the Daisy Delight (flowers), Picture Perfect (background triangles), Swirly Bird (stem and leaves) and Botanical Bliss (sentiment) stamp sets instead. The gorgeous spotted paper is So Saffron from the Subtles 6" x 6" DSP.

The Polka Dot Tulle ribbon poking out from under the sentiment adds a lovely subtle touch.
