INK & INSPIRATION - TECHNIQUE SAVVY BLOG HOP

Hello and welcome to this month's Ink & Inspiration Blog Hop. You are currently visiting Angela Meiritz-Reid from Christchurch, New Zealand. The complete list at the bottom will guide you through all the inspirational projects created by the team.   The theme this month is Technique Savvy and I've chosen to showcase three different techniques to create my little gift bag!     The first technique is Embossing. I've used the new Tufted 3D Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder on my gift bag to create this lovely "quilt" effect.   The next technique is Heat Embossing. I rubbed the Embossing Buddy over the area, then dipped the tip of my blender pen into the Versamark Watermark Ink from the Refill bottle and made little dots on the Embossed gift bag, sprinkled it with Gold Stampin' Emboss Powder then heat set it. CASEING THE CATTY #197 | JOYOUS NOEL

 Welcome to this week's CASEing the Catty Blog Hop. If you started here, welcome and please make sure to visit all the Design Team's blogs, the next button at the end of this post will take you on your journey.     This week my inspiration came from the "sending you our thoughts and prayers" card below on page 35 of the Holiday Catalogue.     I've used the same colour combination but my little birds and sentiment are from the Petal Palette Stamp Set.      I love the simplicity of these cards.
