DOILY BIRTHDAY - STAMPIN' UP! ARTISAN BLOG HOP

Hello and welcome to February's Stampin' Up! Artisan Blog Hop. It's such an honour to be part of this amazing team of talented Stampin' Up! demonstrators from around the world and we look forward to sharing and inspiring you with our creations.

This month we are featuring the Dear Doily and Well Said Bundles. I've combined both these bundles to create three very sparkly birthday cards!

The Doily Builder Thinlits Dies are so much fun to use, and work perfectly with the Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets - just peel away the backing, attach to the back of the Gold Glimmer Paper, place the die on top and run it through the Big Shot using Precision Base Plate, peel off the other backing and voilà a sticky doily!

How cute is the Lace Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder? It's so delicate and pretty and makes a stunning background.

This is the largest doily in the selection, and makes a pretty statement on its own.

The Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies created the frame for this card. I cut the doilies to create a lacey look.

All three cards have the doilies die cut in the Gold Glimmer Paper, with "happy" and "birthday" from the Well Written Framelits Dies (I used the Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets for this too) in Basic Black Cardstock. "Birthday" and "Wishes" from the co-ordinating Well Said Stamp Set are stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black and punched out using the Classic Label Punch with the ends trimmed. A sprinkling of black sequins from the Metallics Sequin Assortment and bows tied in Pool Party to match the Pool Party Cardstock. The Pool Party twine is from the Silver & Pool Party Baker's Twine with the silver and white removed!

Enjoy the rest of the hop, it's full of lots of fabulous projects and inspiration!

Next up on the hop is my lovely friend and talented fellow team member Ashley van Camp.
