CASEING THE CATTY 215 - HOW SWEET IT IS SUITE

Welcome to this week's CASEing the Catty Blog Hop. Our inspiration this week comes from the How Sweet it is Suite in the 2019 Stampin' Up!® Occasions Catalogue.  You may have arrived here from seeing Rose's lovely project if you're hopping along already. If you started here, welcome and please make sure to visit all the Design Team's blogs, the next button at the end of this post will take you on your journey.

This week my inspiration came from the "Just for You" card below on page 22 of the Catalogue.

I love the little 3" x 3" cards and they make great gifts all packaged up in the mini pizza boxes!

I used the little butterfly from the Butterfly Gala Stamp Set and punched it out with the co-ordinating Butterfly Duet Punch to create my repeat pattern. The butterfly was stamped with Powder Pink on Whisper White Cardstock and adhered to Powder Pink Cardstock.

The flower and leaves stamps are from Forever Lovely and Happy Birthday is from Amazing Life and use Lovely Lipstick and Lemon Lime Twist Ink. Happy Birthday has been punched out using the Classic Label Punch and then I've trimmed the ends.

As I was enjoying this design I decided to make some more little cards! The background has been embossed with the Dot to Dot Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.

Behind the butterfly is a few circles of Rose Metallic Thread - it's so pretty!

  3. So lovely Angela- who would have thought you could fit so many butterflies on a wee 3 x 3? They both look great but I love the first one.

  7. Your wee card is so pretty, and a great CASE of the original. Don't you love it when one card kicks off the inspiration for another? Your second card is equally as gorgeous.
