GLOBAL DESIGN PROJECT 186 | SKETCH CHALLENGE

Hello and thanks for stopping by today. My card is for the latest Global Design Project - Sketch Challenge and below is the sketch for this week's challenge.    For my card I'm using the Everything is Rosy Product Medley which is a beautiful selection of co-ordinating products available in May.     I've layered up the Designer Series Paper with the Rose Gold Foil on a piece of Lovely Lipstick Cardstock. I love the delicate floral sprigs on this paper.   This medley contains all these gorgeous floral die cuts and I've layered them up onto a swirl of Rose Metallic Thread and added some shine using my Fine-Tip Glue Pen. The embellishments include the Rose Gold Adhesive-backed Mirror Embellishments, Rhinestones painted with the Rose Gold Shimmer Paint and circles cut from the Rose Gold Foil Paper.   For more inspiration pop over to the Global Design Project .   Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your weekend.    Produc

INK IT! STAMP IT! TECHNIQUE BLOG HOP

Welcome to the Ink It! Stamp It! Blog Hop. This month we are sharing projects featuring techniques. You may have arrived here from my lovely team member Kirsten if you're hopping along already. If you started here, welcome and please make sure to visit all the Design Team's blogs, the full line up below will guide you through all the projects.     This card was created with another gorgeous stamp set from the new Stampin' Up!® Annual Catalogue, "Free as a Bird" and is part of the Bird Ballad Suite. These suites are designed to make product co-ordination even easier. Aren't these little birds cute?   To create my card I used a number of different techniques. The first is on the background and uses daubers with Balmy Blue ink. It's very simple to create but makes a great impact. Just dab the dauber onto the ink pad and create circles on the cardstock until you have achieved the depth of colour you'd like.   I've then embossed th

INK & INSPIRATION - GRATITUDE

Hello and welcome to this month's Ink & Inspiration Blog Hop. You are currently visiting Angela Meiritz-Reid from Christchurch, New Zealand. The complete list at the bottom will guide you through all the inspirational projects created by the team.   The theme this month is "Gratitude" and I've chosen to showcase a gorgeous new set from the new Stampin' Up!® Annual Catalogue called "It Starts With Art". The Follow Your Art Suite is a co-ordinating selection of products containing stamps, dies, designer series paper, embellishments and more!     I'm sending this card off to a fabulous card creator who has inspired and encouraged me over the years and whom I'm grateful for her added sparkle.   The buttons have been stamped in Pool Party and Petal Pink Ink and I've used the co-ordinating twine from the Silver Baker's Twine. The 1/2" and 3/4" punches were a perfect size for the buttons.     I added a s

NEEDLE & THREAD - STAMPIN' UP! ARTISAN BLOG HOP

Welcome to our April Stampin' Up! Artisan Blog Hop and t his month we are featuring the Needlepoint Nook Suite! I love all the little embroidered flowers and leaves, and I'm always a push-over for lovely words in pretty fonts!     With a particular friend in mind, I created a delicate card and gift tag using Petal Pink, Whisper White and Old Olive, and even coloured my little Melting Moments to co-ordinate!   The background stitching has been stamped in Petal Pink ink and then I've layered the leaves and flowers on top. The "green" leaves were die cut from a piece of Shimmery White Card Stock that had been water-coloured with Old Olive ink, the others are from Vellum. A few sequins and pearls add a little sparkle, along with the silver thread in the Silver and White Baker's Twine.   I love the stitched edge detail around the label too!     I also made this card using the Needle & Thread Suite and Lace Dynamic Emb
