SOCIAL STAMPING | HELLO FROM ANGELA

Hello and welcome to this Social Stamping Blog Host created by the fabulous Kelly Kent . Kelly wanted to give us a platform to share our creations due to the world being in various stages of social distancing and isolation. You may have arrived from my lovely and talented fellow Caseing the Catty team member  Michelle Strazds , or if you are starting here please be sure to hop all the way around, you won't want to miss any of the gorgeous projects everyone has to share. My name is Angela Meiritz-Reid and I'm in Christchurch, New Zealand. We are currently in day 3 of a 28 day lockdown.  While I'm a homebody at heart, it'll be interesting to see how I am after 28 days! I popped down to our local supermarket today to pick up a few items but after seeing the line snaking around the car-park with everyone 2 metres apart I decided I would make do with what I had at home! INK & INSPIRATION | EASTER BLOSSOMS

Welcome to the Ink & Inspiration Design Team Blog Hop. You may have arrived here from my lovely and talented friend Satomi Wellard from Japan. If you are starting here please see the complete list at the bottom of this post which will guide you through all the inspirational projects the team has to share. The theme for this hop is Easter and I've chosen the gorgeous Cherry Blossoms Dies for my card this month. To create the flowers and leaves, I water coloured pieces of Shimmery White Cardstock with Lovely Lipstick and Granny Apple Green Ink and die cut them with the various dies. Some images were also die cut in Vellum Cardstock. I then layered them up in the shape of a wreath over an area I had water coloured with Balmy Blue Ink. To complete my card I added Pearls, a Linen Thread Bow and the Easter Blessings sentiment. If you are feeling a bit stuck (in quarantine) as we are here in Christchurch, New Zealand, take a trip around the world wit

BE INSPIRED - FOREVER BLOSSOMS

Welcome to this month's Be Inspired Design Team Blog Hop! Our theme this month is Co-ordinating Products. You may have arrived here from my very talented friend  Brian King ,   or if you are starting here be sure to hop all the way around, you won't want to miss any of the inspirational projects the design team have created. The gorgeous Forever Blossoms Bundle is my favourite from the January-June 2020 Mini Catalogue. I love all the co-ordinating dies that go with the Forever Blossoms Stamp Set, especially the one that die cuts this large image - saves me a lot of fussy cutting! I water coloured the background in Balmy Blue Ink then embossed it with the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder. I added the large floral image and layered up some flowers and leaves that I had fussy cut and gently curved using my bone folder. I wrapped Linen Thread around the card, tied it in a bow and added some Rhinestones coloured using the Balmy Blue Blends. Next up in toda
