Welcome to this month's Be Inspired Design Team Blog Hop! Our theme this month is All Shapes and Sizes. You may have arrived here from my very talented friend Brian King from the USA, or if you are starting here be sure to hop all the way around, you won't want to miss any of the inspirational projects created by the design team.

For my card I've created a square 12.5 x 12.5cm (4 7/8"). I haven't made a large square card in ages - it was great for a change!

I'm so pleased "To a Wild Rose" is not retiring - the more I use this set, the more I love it!

I've added die cut leaves and flowers in gold foil and vellum, and dressed it up with some pearls, twine and wink of stella.

The Pool Party background was created by stamping the background stamp from the Label Me Bold stamp set over the embossed area and then adding a little more watered down ink.

Next up in today's hop is my lovely friend Tanya Rees I'm looking forward to seeing what gorgeous creation Tanya has to share with us.

Hello and welcome to this week's Social Stamping Blog Host created by my lovely and talented friend Kelly Kent. Kelly wanted to give us a platform to share our creations due to the world being in various stages of social distancing and isolation. You may have arrived from Kathryn's blog, or if you are starting here please be sure to hop all the way around, you won't want to miss any of the fabulous projects everyone has to share.

The theme for today is "war and peace"!

It is Anzac Day here in NZ today, and it is the first time ever that we have not been about to gather in crowds at dawn and stand silently on a cool autumnal morning to remember the fallen. But while we won't be standing shoulder to shoulder wearing our ancestors' military decorations, buying poppies or listening to the haunting Last Post, we will stand in our driveways, living rooms or balconies and we will remember. We will also remember with gratitude that no matter what we are currently dealing with, it is incomparable to what our forebears suffered in wartime.

The gorgeous Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper was an obvious choice to use for my cards. I have almost used it all up now!

I have created a selection of different cards showcasing the Designer Series Paper with a sentiment or two.

I'm planning on sending these out to customers around the city to say hi and let them know I'm thinking about them.

Just choosing a different accent colour creates a totally different look.

Glimmer papers, foils, metallic thread and rhinestones all look great on this paper too.

This paper is just too beautiful to cover up!

I hope wherever you are in the world you are keeping well and staying safe.

Thanks so much for stopping by and enjoy the hop - Kia Kaha!

Next up is Siobhan, I look forward to seeing her gorgeous creation.

Welcome to the Ink & Inspiration Design Team Blog Hop. You may have arrived here from my lovely and talented friend Sandra Mastello from Australia. If you are starting here please see the complete list at the bottom of this post which will guide you through all the inspirational projects the team has to share.

The theme for this hop is Gratitude and it is perfect timing to be expressing Gratitude. My heart goes out to everyone around the world dealing with this terrible virus that has afflicted so many.  Whilst it is a difficult time and creating a tremendous amount of hardship, there are still many things to have gratitude for. Amongst those are all the amazing people working in "essential services" putting others first while they continue to keep our countries up and running. To these unsung heroes thank you, thank you for your dedication, selflessness, and your service, we wouldn't be making such a positive impact on beating this pandemic without you.

For my card this month I've chosen the gorgeous To A Wild Rose Bundle and used the colours Merry Merlot, Garden Green and Crushed Curry! These are colours I haven't used before, I'm trying to expand my repertoire!

I love how the Stitched So Sweetly Dies also make great background grounds, here I've used one of the dies to layer my rose on. I added some splattering so it wouldn't be too stark and then layered up some of the Garden Green Twine and Vellum leaves from the Wild Rose Dies under the rose and leaves.

"Blessed" is white embossed on Basic Black Cardstock and then fussy cut! I wonder if I could get a job fussy cutting? I love it!

I also added a mixture of pearls and sequins.

The rose from this set is perfect for water-colouring and I really did enjoy using different colours!

If you are feeling a bit stuck (in quarantine) as we are here in Christchurch, New Zealand, take a trip around the world with us and be inspired with Gratitude projects.

Take care and stay safe!

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I'm sharing a couple of cards I made for a Stampin' Up!® Challenge - it was to use the colours Crumb Cake, Pool Party, Pretty Peacock and Soft Suede. I immediately thought of the sea and the Come Sail Away Suite.

The background was created with a Sponge Brayer. It was the first time I had used it! It really was easy to use and I love the results. Check out my YouTube video here if you are interested in seeing it in action!

I hope you are keeping well and staying safe in your bubble! The fabulous autumnal weather we are having here in Christchurch is certainly making this containment period more bearable!
