CASEING THE CATTY | STITCHED ALL AROUND

Hello and welcome to this week's CASEing the Catty Blog Hop CTC 269. This week we are CASEing our Favourite Retiring Bundle. You are currently visiting Angela Meiritz-Reid's blog, you may have come from my talented friend Shannon or if you're just joining thanks for stopping by. Please make sure to click on the next button at the end of this post to continue on the hop - you won't want to miss any!

I have chosen to CASE the "Best Wishes Friend" card on page 43 of the Annual Catalogue.

I just love the fresh colours in this card, especially the Pool Party! Instead of stamping the floral images like the original card I've mixed up the gorgeous felt hearts, stars and flowers from the Follow Your Art Kit. I stamped and layered everything just like the card in the catalogue, it's such a great design! While I was making this card, I inked up a couple of the stamps that hadn't been used before now! Do you have sets like that?

I found a various assortment of leaves in my stash and added these to the card too! They had been created by water-colouring pieces of water-colour paper with Granny Apple Green and die cutting.

We would love you to join us with your CASE this week or next, using our Facebook group. Click on the image below to go there. For the first time you'll need to click on the "Join Group" button at the top. After you're added you can post your creation and you don't need to have a blog.

This year we are extending our challenges to two weeks. We will still hop weekly, showcasing different cards each week but you will have two weeks to participate.

Thanks so much for stopping by and enjoy the hop! Next up is my talented friend Judy May - just click on the Next Blog Button below.
