BE INSPIRED | SOMETHING NEW

Welcome to this month's Be Inspired Design Team Blog Hop! Our theme this month is "Something New". You may have arrived here from my very talented friend Emma Goddard from the United Kingdom, or if you are starting here be sure to hop all the way around, you won't want to miss any of the inspirational projects created by the design team.

The new Celebrate Sunflowers Bundle is proving to be very popular and diverse. I've stuck to the traditional colours for my card but love that it looks great in any colour!

For my background I die cut the large sunflower outline with Whisper White Cardstock that I had adhered the new Adhesive Sheets to - this makes this technique very quick and easy.

I stamped the sunflower image in Daffodil Delight and then using my Water Painter I softened the edges. I also added some Calypso Coral to add depth.

I used the same technique for the leaves, then added a few water spotches!

I love this sentiment and the fonts!

The gold thread is from the Forever Greenery Trim Combo Pack, and I've added some Gold Metallic Pearls too!

Next up in today's hop is my lovely and talented friend Tanya Rees in Australia, I'm looking forward to seeing what gorgeous creation she has to share with us.

  4. I love this, Angela! I'd thought about a background made of the lacy sunflower but the thought of adhering them put me off! It looks amazing though, so maybe I'll get over it....
