From the moment I opened the catalogue and saw this suite, I loved it! I love everything in this suite. Being in the South Pacific we have a warm Christmas so these colours lend themselves to a warmer climate and are some of my favourite colours too!
I started with a Crumb Cake card base. I haven't used Crumb Cake for awhile but I think I'll dust it off a bit more as it makes a perfect background for any card. Then I layered up a piece of Whimsy & Wonder Specialty Designer Series Paper onto a slightly larger piece of Basic White. The trees have been stamped in colours that co-ordinate with the DSP, Blushing Bride, Polished Pink and Mint Macaron and then die cut.
I added the trees to a label die cut from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies and coated them in Wink of Stella to give them a sparkle. The little stars have been die cut from scraps of iridescent foil around the Wonderful Snowflakes. A bow of White Twine and the sentiment white embossed and fussy cut complete my card.
