BE INSPIRED | STEPPING INTO SPRING!

Welcome to March's Be Inspired Design Team Blog Hop! This month the theme is Stepping into Spring. Here in the South Pacific we are in Autumn and plodding into Winter! The weather is glorious at the moment, I love this time of year.  I'm looking forward to seeing what everyone has created! P lease be sure to hop all the way around for lots of inspirational projects created by the design team.  So in the spirit of spring, I have used the word "spring" from the Hey Birthday Chick Stamp set on my card! I have chosen blue and yellow (gold), the national colours of Ukraine, for my card. My thoughts and prayers are with the people of the Ukraine. I water-coloured the chicken, layered it up onto a blended background and added it to a Gingham Embossed panel. This chicken really does have a "spring" in its step! Next up in today's hop is my lovely and inspirational friend  Louise Sharp from Australia , I'm looking forward to seeing what gorgeous creation she

GLOBAL DESIGN PROJECT #336 | CASE THE DESIGNER

Welcome to my blog! Today I'm sharing the card I made for this week's Global Design Project #336 | CASE THE DESIGNER. And yes, this week we are caseing me! I'm excited to see what everyone will create using my card as a starting point! Here's our definition of CASE ... CASE = Copy And Selectively Edit Remember that when you CASE a project you can take what you like from the design and make it your own. It might be the stamp set - the colours, the layout, the theme, the images - whatever you like that has inspired you to make a card of your own. I used the gorgeous Prized Peony Stamp Set and co-ordinating Peony Dies to create my card. I kept the layout much the same just changed up a few things. If you are ever stuck on making a card, I think CASEing is a great place to start, it gets you creating and often once you have started you don't want to stop! GLOBAL DESIGN PROJECT #335 | RAIN AND RAINBOW

Hello and welcome to my blog! Today I'm sharing the cards I made for this week's Global Design Project #335 | Rain and Rainbow. Rainbows are always popular and when you see them in the sky you can't help but notice! The other day my daughter and I saw a double rainbow, they were so bright and pretty. For my cards today I decided to create mini baby cards - combining two fun and happy events! I have used the Abstract Beauty Ephemera Pack, it has lots of gorgeous die cuts including the floral and leaf images I used on these cards. For a step by step tutorial please click on the Tutorial button. All products are listed in the tutorial and below. I've also created a video tutorial, click on the link below to watch! Please remember to head on over to the  Global Design Project blog  and check out all the fabulous creations made by my fellow team members and we would love to see your rain and rainbow creations.
