BE INSPIRED | GOODBYE/MISS YOU

Welcome to April's Be Inspired Design Team Blog Hop! This month the theme is Goodbye/Miss You, I'm looking forward to seeing what everyone has created! It's always sad to see some of our favourites leave the Stampin' Up!® Annual Catalogue but so exciting to see the gorgeous new products arrive! P lease be sure to hop all the way around for lots of inspirational projects created by the design team.  The Wild Roses Stamp Set has been one of my favourite stamp sets! I love large background stamps as they can be used as, just that, a background stamp or be the focus of your card. I created my card by stamping in Versamark and embossing in White Emboss Powder then blended the colour on starting with Pool Party at the top, Bermuda Bay in the middle and Pacific Point at the bottom. The Stamparatus makes using these stamps so easy too as it ensures you get it all stamped. I splattered water onto the card to create a few watermarks. It is very subtle on this card but I love this

GLOBAL DESIGN PROJECT #340 | CASE THE DESIGNER - ANN ALEXANDER

Welcome to my blog! Today I'm sharing the card I made for this week's Global Design Project #340  |  Case the Designer - Ann Alexander. Ann's gorgeous card inspired my card with the layered images, great layout and perfectly appointed bow and bling! I chose a monochromatic look for my card, using lots of Pool Party! The Pattern Party Designer Series Paper makes a lovely subtle background for my card - I am going to miss this paper. The Brilliant Wings Dies includes several interesting dies including the hash-type one I have used above which looks like the one used on aluminium tread plates. GLOBAL DESIGN PROJECT 339 | FLOWERS

Welcome to my blog! Today I'm sharing the card I made for this week's Global Design Project 339 | Flowers. There are lots of gorgeous floral stamp sets in the Stampin' Up! catalogues! I chose the Hydrangea Haven Stamp Set as it is one of my favourites and I'm so pleased it is carrying over to the new catalogue. The background has been created using the Stitched Greenery Die. This is a great die to have as it makes a stunning but simple background. I coloured the hydrangea using the Stampin' Blends. It was fun to colour-in using the Blends and they are so easy to use. For a step by step tutorial please click on the Tutorial button. All products are listed in the tutorial and below. I've also created a video tutorial, click on the link below to watch! Please remember to head on over to the  Global Design Project blog  and check out all the fabulous creations made by my fellow team members and we would love to see your creations with flowers. See you next week! Pro
