BE INSPIRED | CELEBRATIONS

The Be Inspired Design Team are hopping today and our theme this month is "Celebrations". I always look forward to seeing what everyone has created! P lease be sure to hop all the way around for lots of inspirational projects created by the design team.  I'm celebrating the kindness of people! I love the sentiment in this set "you made my day"! It's always nice to let someone know when they have made your day. The Cheerful Daisies Stamp Set and co-ordinating dies is my favourite Bundle in the new Annual Stampin' Up! Catalogue. It is so versatile and I have used it so much already. For my card, I stamped the outline of the daisies in Boho Blue and the in-fill stamp was stamped-off first to get a lighter blue. The Timber embossed background makes a great neutral layer between the Boho Blue card base and the daisies. CHEERFUL DAISIES - FACEBOOK LIVE

Hello and welcome to my blog. Today I'm sharing the card I created on my Facebook Live this morning. If you would like to see how I made my card, please click here . Boho Blue is my favourite new In Color, and is the most popular one too! To create my card, I started by adhering Adhesive Sheet to a piece of Basic White Cardstock, die cut all the elements from the Cheerful Daisies Dies twice then stuck them together before adhering them to the Boho Blue Cardstock layer. I added this layer to the Boho Blue card base with a layering panel*, alternatively you could use Dimensionals. *I cut down the white card that comes with the Designer Series Paper packs and glue 3 pieces together then use this to create dimension on my card. It is cut 5mm smaller than the panel I'm adhering it to. A splatter of White Pigment Ink was flicked over the card front and left to dry while I embossed the sentiment and added it to the card front with a piece of the gorgeous new Boho Blue Textured Ribbon.
